I definitely agree with number 1- Stephen Sears book is excellent. Another good book but I think it is published by a small publisher is "Antietam: The Soldier's Battle" by John M. Priest. It deals less with tactics and battle descriptions and more with the common grunt soldier, hence the name. It is available on Amazon in paperback though.
